My pots are intended for use, so I’m concerned with how they function; if they pour well for instance. But I’m also interested in line and form and watching new shapes evolve; a whole new vessel shape may emerge or it might be a major or even minor vessel shape change. I live and work in Carberry, Manitoba where I have built a studio onto the back of my house. I have an electric kiln, fire to cone 7 and collect sticks for handles from nearby lake shores.
