Douglas Frey has been working as a full time Goldsmith since 1978, specializing in designing and hand crafting jewellery in platinum, gold and silver. With a desire to further make his pieces unique and to increase the design possibilities of his handmade jewellery he began cutting high quality gem cabochons in 1990 and in 1994 began facetting stones for inclusion in finished pieces. He has been an active member of the craft community in Saskatchewan and Canada for many years.
