Sylvie Boulet was bom in Winnipeg, MB, She received her B.F.A at the School of Art, University of Manitoba and a diploma from the lstituto per L'Arte e il Restauro in
Florence, Italy.
Through her work in paper-making, binding, casting and hand-dying techniques; she continues to be interested in free standing and sculptural forms and in the incorporation of natural and found materials into her work. She consolidates many aspects of her training as an artist in essaying the complexities of colour, form, and spatial relationships.
