dr on handmade
All of my one-of-a-kind or limited edition pieces are handmade. Manipulating materials directly in sawing, filing and cutting is satisfying for me. From the physical act of rolling gold and silver through the mill, to the hammering of metal, the filing and cutting of silver and the bending of metal wire into a particular form, these tactile experiences create meaning for me. The rolling mill feels like an extension of my hands and eyes.
